David is a former farrier who has shod horses all over the world, from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Dubai to Italy to the United States. His wealth of experience - and great stories - make for an informative and enjoyable experience. He earned his Journeyman Farrier Certification from the American Farrier's Association and built a thriving farriery business serving sporthorses in Western Washington, before injuries forced him to pursue another career. Now he enjoys passing on his business and technical knowledge to others in the industry, along with his love of horses and blacksmithing to anyone trying it for the first time!
